Creative Team Kat getting all summery!!!

Hey everyone, its Kat here with a card to share.
I have gone all summery again with my card, just as the weather here in lovely Scotland has changed to dull and wet again, but hey ho, it'll be sunny again in 10 mins lol, we truly do have every season in one day here!
Ok so onto my card, I went with my fav dusky pink combo with my copics, R85, R83 and R81, and using R89 to give deep shadows.
I hope you like my card, have a wonderful week everyone xx

Creative Team Silvie and Springtime 2.

Hello everyone,
it's SILVIE here with another Saturated Canary card. The little cutie on my card is called THE SEASONS, SPRINGTIME II. Oh my, she's just so gorgeous! Definitely one of my favorite images (hmm, let me think, I would say that ALL Saturated Canary are my favorite, LOL!).
This time, I printed the image a bit larger to fit the large Spellbinders frame. As always, the image is colored with Copics and I used one of my favorite color combo: Dress: RV99, 95, 93, 91, 00, 0000; E79, 77, 74, 71, 70, E40; C7, 5, 3, 1,00 Hair: E49, 29, 25, 53, 51, 50
The pretty papers are by Maja Design. Of course, I had to add loads of mulberry paper flowers - I'm such a flower addict, LOL! Couple of swirls and other die cuts later and voilĂ , my card was finished!
Hope you got inspired today. For more details, please visit my blog. Have a lovely weekend everyone!
Big Hugs Silvie xxxx

Little sisters and Sandcastles with Creative Team Lou.....

Image- Little sisters and sandcastles from Saturated Canary.

Hiyah everyone!!
Its Lou to post again today because our gorgeous Alby is off playing at CHA!! and I was in a summery mood this morning (....which is quite good as I was at work last night and haven't slept yet because its the school holidays and I have 2 gorgeous little peeps to play with!!!)

So, after painting boo's nails and adding a little gem here and there ( ..pink on toes and blue on fingers!!!) and doing a smiley face on Mo's middle finger with 2 gems for eyes and a smile drawn in, I was deserted for skateboard practice outside. I sat in my crafty room and did a squidge of coloring while they played. Its so lovely to be able to do that. I coloured up the fabulous Little sisters and sandcastles image. Oh how I love this image! it so reminds me of the 2 children I used to be a nanny for! they go to lanzarote every year and they love the beach and I have a few pictures of them playing away in the sand!

And oh my!! how about these awesome papers?!!! aren't they just gorgeous!!! I adore them! Mo as already stolen half the pile I printed out for ' Making stuffs'!!!!!

Once I had finished trying to use as many of those gorgeous patterns as I could on my card I got to finishing off my image. I wanted it to look all distressed and like an old canvas photo so I dabbed some crackle accents all over it. I cannot get it to show up in the photo which is soooooo annoying but here is my best effort at playing to get it to show....
Right then, espresso is calling me big time so I am off to stoke up my Tassimo and sort that out....my head is starting to nod and I need to stay awake for the fresh fish man to deliver my fish! ( I LOVE fish and eat tonnes of it! so a £20 selection pack is just right!! yummo!! hope I don't eat it all tonight!! he he he he!!)
Please pop over to my blog if you need any more deets on the papers and stuff!!

Thank you for popping in!
huge hugs Lou xxxx

Creative Team Silvie with Puppy Love....

Image- Puppy Love.

Hello everyone,

Silvie here. Today is my turn to share my post for the Creative Team.

I've created a non traditional wedding card for a friend whose brother is getting married. My friend wanted the card to be in purple/lilac tones, with lots of flowers and she preferred the main image to be something different than traditional bride and groom. So I decided to go for Saturated Canary - Puppy Love. This images is just so gorgeous and I think it's perfect for this card. Oh, and the chipboard bicycle is there on purpose! My friend really insisted on this because the happy couple loves riding a bike and they actually met together for the first time on a cycling competition

As always, image is colored with Copics. The pretty papers are by Maja Design. The heart in the middle is embossed and inked with Distress Inks and mounted on 3D foam squares for more dimension. I also added clear and light purple flatback gemstones for more bling.
Hope you like my card. Thank you so much for stopping by today!
Have a lovely day!
Big Hugs,
Silvie xxxx

Creative Team Lou and Violet Vintage...

Image- Violet Vintage.
Hello everyone!!
its my turn to post a bit of something here today and I saw a challenge I just had to have a go at yesterday!! some of my gorgeous friends are on the Creative Romance challenge blog DT and their challenge this time is No Designer papers.

Omg major gulp and leap out of my comfort zone but their creations got me so inspired I just had to pull up my slightly bigger then they were when I weighed a stone more 6 weeks ago big girl pants and hop outta that comfort zone!!!!

So I rummaged around my cardstock and found some embossed card, plonked it in the prinetr, spoke to Violet Vintage and asked her to print nicely, spoke to card and asked it even nicelier not to bleed when I coloured and spoke to texty stamp and asked it to stamp nicely on embossed card!!!! and wohooooo! it all came together!!!!! and even more amazingly for me I managed No Dp's and CAS all at the same time! go me!!!

I decided Violet needed some cool glasses to go with her dress and cool chick kinda look so after I had coloured up her eyes I added a little lavender promarker and some glossy accents. To stamp the text over her I used my frisket to mask off her legs and handbag and I really do love how that came out!

So if I can give you one bit of crafty fun today it is to step out of your comfort zone!! huge thank you's to the Creative Romance teamies for inspiring me to go for it!

Thank you for popping in to peek! hugs Lou xxx

Creative Team Kat and Ava......

Image- Ava.

Hi lovelies, its Kat here today with my post for the creative team!
I am so happy to be sharing this card with you I have used the fabulous sweet 'Ava'. Isn't she the lovely?

I have used copics and pencils to colour her, and used some pretty My minds eye papers. I cut the little banners by hand, I do have dies to cut these but I always forget I have them! I have used lots of lovely flowers and stunning butterflies from Prima.

This is my first attempt at colouring clouds with copics, and while I am not entirely happy with them, I hope to improve with more practice. As always I have used lace, dont know what I would do if I couldnt use lace!

I hope you like my card, more details can be found on my blog.
Have a wonderful day lovelies xxx

Saturated Canary Creative Team!!

Hello everyone!

Today I am sharing a new Saturated Canary Team with you!  This small team of crafters are going to be posting projects on this blog a couple times a week...to provide even more amounts of inspiration for everyone!  The Creative Team is not a second challenge or a link-up... We simply put together a small team to share their Saturated Canary projects with you on a regular basis.

Now, let me introduce the team and their first projects...

saturated canary digi

Kathleen is the sweetest crafter and is such a talented colorer!  I love how feminine and sweet all her projects look.  All her projects catch my eye, and I have even seen her work in person.  AMAZING.  You can find more of her creations on her blog, Crafty Kat Designs.

Alberto.  You probably already know the name, just from the coloring.  I LOVE the Avatar~Mermaid combo he did here.  Breathtaking!  You can see more of his coloring on his blog, Lo Shakerato Alberto.

Silvie.  I asked Silvie to join the team because I stalk enjoy her creations on Facebook...and she immediately came to mind when putting the team together.  I am so thrilled she said YES!  Hop over to Silvie's blog, Created by Silvie Z, and say 'hello'!!

And my DT leader, Lou. I would travel all the way to the UK just to give this lady a big hug.  She volunteers for everything and keeps me updated on my teams around the clock.  And besides being organized and lovely, I really love the unique and beautiful creations she makes with Saturated Canary stamps.  You can see all of Lou's creations on her blog, Loopy Lou' Loopy Thoughts!

I just cannot say enough about these crafters.
This group is so full of talent, and I cannot what to share all their future projects with you all!
